Drop-In hour members get access our facility, tools and equipment during open hours, plus member perks such as workshop and event discounts.

  • → Access to Makerspace YK's facility including a multi-purpose art and sewing studio, heated and enclosed woodshop with built-in dust extraction, and a digital fabrication room.
  • → Access to digital fabrication equipment: Sublimation mug and shirt printing, Cricut cutters, Mug and shirt heat press, Soldering equipment, Laser cutters*, 3D printers*, small CNC mill*. *Equipment Orientations required.***
  • → Access to sewing and art tools and equipment: sewing machines, sergers, industrial fur machine*, industrial sewing machine, easels and canvas stretchers, cutting and pattern making equipment, rug tufting guns and frames*, screen printing*. *Equipment Orientations required.***
  • → Access to woodshop tools and equipment including:*** Sawstop tablesaw, Vertical Bandsaws, Belt and Disc Sander, Spindle Sander, Compound Mitre saw, track saw, 12" jointer, 15" planer, Router Table, Assembly tables, Spray booth. misc power tools and hand tools. ***Woodshop Orientation required.***

24/7 Community Maker Member

24/7 Community Maker members get access our facility, tools and equipment 24/7! This includes member perks such as workshop and event discounts. *24/7 members will have a min. 4 hours per month volunteer requirement to keep their access.

$100 /month
  • → Workshop and orientation discounts.
  • → Unlimited* 24/7 Access to woodshop, hackspace and artspace and any tools and equipment with completed orientations. *Some spaces and equipment may not be available during workshops, events or routine maintenance.
  • → 24/7 access available after completing : 32 hours of drop-in use, 30 volunteer hours in last 6 months, woodshop orientation, 1 digital fabrication equipment orientation, 24/7 policy and onboarding sessions, get approval by two people (existing 24/7 members, staff, directors.)
  • → Fabrication request connections - MSYK will forward any contract fabrication requests from the public to 24/7 members.
